Empowering Women Through Entrepreneurship: The University of Scranton Women’s Entrepreneurship Center (WEC) Fall StartUP Series

In today’s business landscape, entrepreneurship has become a possible path for individuals seeking to pursue their dreams and secure a better future for themselves and their families. The University of Scranton Women’s Entrepreneurship Center (WEC) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are teaming up to offer StartUP a 6-week certificate program designed for women with lower incomes, women experiencing a life transition or women trying to make a better life for themselves and their families. StartUP will offer women support and guidance in determining if entrepreneurship is an option for them.

Housed in the Kania School of Management, The University of Scranton Women’s Entrepreneurship Center (WEC) is a program of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). WEC student interns and SBDC staff offer business start-up information, guidance, and encouragement.
