Peggy Doolittle
Women’s Entrepreneurship Center Administrative Assistant
Raised with strong ideals of kinship, kindness and care of the whole person (“cura personalis”), Peggy Doolittle found her calling when she joined The University of Scranton’s campus community in 2008, as an assistant in The Office of Student Affairs, going on to serve Public Relations from 2010-2012 and settling in to The Division of University Advancement in 2012-present. Having a true passion for its Jesuit Mission of “Men and Women for and With Others”, Peggy recently joined the SBDC team, dedicating her time to the Women’s Entrepreneurship Center (WEC) Online StartUP Series Project, funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission. Supporting the WEC, Peggy’s focus includes assisting in all planning, preparations, promotion and meeting facilitation.
Peggy continues to grow her passion for mission and service through active involvement in the local community and by serving as a student chaperone for domestic service trips, Staff Senate past Executive Committee member and current senate representative, chairing many committees such as the Meg Cullen Brown monthly Magis Award of recognition, sitting board member of The Office of Student Conduct, Title-IX and Counseling and Human Services Boards, and Incident Management team member. Peggy has also been an active member of University Advancement’s External Communications and Core Values Committees. A graduate of The University of Scranton (BS), Peggy is experienced in the areas of group facilitation and non-profit program coordination. Assisting in The Autism Collaborative Center of Excellence program management, facilitation and support, Peggy excels in face-to-face program communication. Truly being a “woman for others”, Peggy was awarded the “St. Francis Leadership” award for outstanding service and contribution to the Staff Senate.
