The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is proud to announce the opening of another local business, Burlap & Bourbon, located at 530 Spruce Street in downtown Scranton, Pennsylvania. The SBDC was able to assist Stephanie Sebastianelli launch an upscale men’s clothing store. Burlap and Bourbon features casual and work clothes as well as jeans. The store sells well-known brands such as Vineyard Vines, Thomas Dean and Vince.
Ms. Sebastianelli attended the First Step, Starting Your Business workshop at the University of Scranton. Additionally, the SBDC conducted research on her behalf, assisted her with her business plan, and aided in the formulation of the firm’s financial projections.
