Governor Wolf Announces 12 More Counties to Move to Yellow Phase on May 22

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced 12 additional Pennsylvania counties will move to the yellow phase of reopening at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, May 22, including Susquehanna, Wyoming, and Wayne in our SBDC’s service area. Read more.

The Governor’s Office previously provided guidance that details procedures businesses must follow to conduct in-person operations in counties slated to move to the yellow phase of reopening. All businesses, including non-profits, permitted to conduct in-person operations are subject to this guidance. This guidance is based on the building safety and business safety orders, under which nearly all life-sustaining businesses have been operating during the red phase. Businesses that have questions about whether this guidance applies to them may contact the Department of Health at 1-877-PA-HEALTH (1-877-724-3258).

Contact our SBDC today to talk about what this means for your small business. Call us at 570-941-7588 or e-mail sbdc@scranton.edu.
