Thanksgiving is right around the corner and everyone is starting to think about that green bean casserole recipe or even the good ole’ classic stuffing. However, recipes are not only for cooking or creating that perfect family-style Thanksgiving dinner. There are many ingredients that go into creating a successful business! Here are 6 ingredients to a small business’ success:
Ingredient 1: Passion
This might sound like an obvious ingredient, however, there are no substitutes for the commitment, love, and attachment you have for your business!
Ingredient 2: Attitude of Service
Remember that your customers are always your main focus because without their support and interest in your products, your business would not be where it is today! Always provide the best customer service possible and try to exceed the customer’s expectation every time you interact with them.
Ingredient 3: Obsession for the Customer
Your first focus should be your customers, and then your product and service. You will not see growth in your company if you are not “obsessed” about pleasing your customer with your product or service.
Ingredient 4: Obsession for Quality
Successful start-ups did not only start with creative ideas, but made sure those ideas were quality driven. Your product or service must add value to the customer in anyway possible.
Ingredient 5: Innovation
Innovation does a number of things for your business, especially creating customer value. Innovation is very important for the growth of your customer base, profit margins, and productivity.
Ingredient 6: Consistency
One of the great aspects of starting your own business is you choose your own path. You are the only person that decides when you want to work extra hours, how many hours a week you want to work, and when you want to take a break. So make sure life doesn’t get in the way and you have a consistent path for yourself and your customers!
