Keith D. Yurgosky, MBA

Keith Yurgosky’s career with the SBDC started in 1994. Both Keith’s BS in Accounting and his MBA in Marketing are from the University of Scranton, where he has taught topics from Principals of Management to Public Speaking as an adjunct professor. His previous career experience was as a controller for occupational health clinics, and in retail customer service.
At the SBDC, Keith holds dual roles as both a consultant and trainer. As a consultant he handles start up businesses, but specializes in internet marketing, social media marketing, and website design. Keith often gives advice on international trade, business planning and market research. His training topics include EBAY and NxLevel™ education, in both of which he was trained and certified to be an educator. Keith was also chosen to present training programs at the Association of Small Business Development Centers’ National Conferences in 2009 through 2014.
Keith’s other responsibilities are the creation and maintenance of the web pages for The University of Scranton SBDC and The KSOM Women’s Entrepreneurship Center, as well as the SBDC's blog, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube accounts.
Keith covers the SBDC Outreach Program for Susquehanna & Wyoming counties.
Outside of the SBDC, Keith previously served on the board of directors of MetroAction, Inc. and on its loan review committee. He currently serves on the loan review committee for the Northern Tier Regional Planning & Development Commission. Keith is currently a board member for the Newton Lake Association and coaches softball for the Lakeland Girls Softball Association. He is also a 2002 graduate of Leadership Lackawanna.
