Elaine M. Tweedy
Director
Elaine has been with the SBDC since 1987, and has been the Director
since 1989. Maintaining responsibility for SBDC program administration,
budgeting, marketing/visibility and establishing working community
partnerships, Elaine also
specializes in human resource issues, loan packaging, and strategic planning. She has a
BS in Accounting from
Marywood
University, a Masters Degree in Human
Resource Administration (MHRA), and a certification in Human Relations Law.
With years of experience in curriculum development, Elaine is primarily
responsible for creating educational programs surrounding the topics of
Policy and Procedure Manuals, Essential Supervision Skills, effective
Communications, Time Management, Successful Woman Managers, and others.
Presently, Elaine is an adjunct faculty member on the undergraduate
level for the Kania School of Management at
The University of
Scranton. She primarily works with clients in the development of their
Human Resource areas, as well as those seeking financing, business plan
development, or strategic planning for growing their business.
