Would you like your farm, farmer’s market, retail establishment (local food –oriented restaurant, caterer, retail goods shop) mapped and listed for FREE on the buylocalpa.org website? The Northeast Region Chapter of the Buy Fresh Buy Local (BFBL) movement has been established as of April 1, 2009. Designed to build awareness in local consumers toward local farm products, the BFBL website is YOUR FIRST STEP in becoming a part of our growing local food network! Simply go to http://www.buylocalpa.org/northeast where you will be directed to the Northeast Region Chapter page. There you can go to the bottom to follow the links to register your establishment/farm enterprise. You can also find other links to information on our local chapter, such as scheduled/planned events, featured farmers, recipes, and much much more! The Chapter Blog “Here’s the Dirt” can be found at http://bfbl.wordpress.com/. Within the next month, we will have a membership option available on our website. At that time you can take advantage of the added features of becoming a member or partner.
